About The Yeshiva Track

In the summer of 2016 the Lakewood Fellowship inaugurated the Yeshiva Track.

Based in Lakewood the program is designed for students who have spent a year or two in Yeshivos such as Aish Hatorah, Machon Yaakov, Machon Shlomo, Ohr Samayach and Shappels. The students, most of whom have

undergraduate degrees from leading universities are placed as interns in thriving Lakewood area businesses. Mornings, Evenings and Weekend are dedicated to Torah learning.

Lakewood Fellowship

The Lakewood Fellowship Intern Program, launched in 2012,is designed for highly motivated university students who are looking to enhance their careers and their Jewish growth. Participants develop their professional skills through work experience in New York’s business world and have the opportunity to network with industry leaders. The program offers weekend and weeknight Jewish studies as well as inspiring Shabbos weekends in warm nonjudgmental environments. For six weeks, students from leading universities such as Penn, Boston, Emory, Rutgers, Brandies and Maryland intern at hedge funds, accounting, insurance,  real estate firms, and other businesses in NYC’s financial world. In 2015, a Health Care Track was created, designed to meet the needs of Pre-med students.  All prospective interns go through a thorough screening process and are only then invited to interview with prospective companies. Interns are enrolled in the program only when they meet a company’s standards and expectations.
